YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

Okay so we all know it's tough out here to survive for the musicians that haven't had "ANY" music or product placements. The question is what are you going to do about it? Sit there and continue to cry about it, or be the one needle in the haystack that actually makes a difference. What many people have to realize is that everyone wants something for FREE, and yes that means even YOU. Either a music placement, product placement, or millions of fans to buy your music.

Many of you just want someone to walk up and give you a bag of money and then walk away. But. It's not that simple. You have to realize that if opportunity comes-a-knockin' and you are unprepared, then your going to be spending time trying to get ready, when you should of opened the door.Meaning if there are some placement websites out there or music placement consultants that require you to pay up front for their service, then I say, you should check them out and if all seems reliable and trustworthy, then go ahead and pay them what they asks. I mean what's "a fee' compared to how much money "YOU'' are going to recieve for your music or product placements? Once you get one placement, then your name will pretty much be "out there". I'm sure that same "fee'' of probably 100 bucks or less is cheaper and quicker than going to school for music. At the same time you want to be careful about gettinig ripped off and not give any ole' chum your money. So how do you make sure you are getting the best efficient "UP TO DATE" knowledge from a music placement consultant? Here's how. Ask them to list their services and have them tell you what services they provide.Because you have to be careful, not to run into someone who "USE TO GET" music placements and now they are just making you pay them for the "tips'' and tricks they used to get those placements. Every recipe is not good for everybody. What worked for them, May not work for you.

Also ask them can they get you up to date music placement listings from Million dollar companies that are looking for music on a daily basis? Do they have "ANY" information on video game placement listings? what about placements and indie film opportunities? Or, Can they offer a way to get you JOB placement assistance in the entertainment industry? (and no I do not mean interns, because interns are just modern slaves) Ask them if they could get a job as a production assistant, or licensing coordinator, or music editor, music writer, or tour planner. That way if you are a musician, then you'd have the chance to plug yourself up being that you'd work more closer to open opportunities. Imagine if you were "writing about" yourself as the new Brand new hip trendsetting musician coming out. How easy would that be? And you'd have a source of income.

If you do not do your research into these music placement consultants , or people who "claim to get you placements" then your just asking to be scammed. After all this is your money, so make sure the person on the other end actually deserves it, especially if it's going to help out your career. Here is a glimpse of just "some" of the things I offer-----------> http://placements-r-us.blogspot.com/2012/08/thousands-of-music-placement.html  <---------- Come to think of it, I'll probably be doing an update to these sort of listings every friday. I'll just have to be reminded though because i have so much going on at the time. Email me at placements-r-us@hotmail.com Or Music.placements.r.us@gmail.com However it seems as if my phone works PERFECTLY with the hotmail account.
